New TV Magic Office Brings Best of Entertainment Technology to Los Angeles Area

Full-Service Consulting and Broadcast Solutions Company Celebrates 10 Years of Success With New Facility in Los Angeles

SAN DIEGO — Dec. 12, 2006 — TV Magic, a full-service consulting and broadcast engineering company, today announced the opening of its new office in Burbank, Calif. The facility allows the company to extend its San Diego-based business to offer local sales, engineering, and support services to its rapidly growing customer base comprising greater-Los Angeles-area broadcast, production, and post-production facilities.

“TV Magic has grown rapidly since its founding in 1999, and the new Burbank facility is a natural and logical step in the further development of the company and its capacity to provide clients with smart, effective solutions tailored to their broadcast needs,” said TV Magic President Stephen D. Rosen. “We‘ve been involved with a variety of significant projects for LA-based companies over the years, and this level of commitment on our part — and theirs — warrants a full-time, full-service presence in the area.”

TV Magic brings its breadth and depth of knowledge from a diverse number of disciplines including the broadcast, sports, studio production, post, government, and manufacturing sectors. The company currently consists of 50 employees based out of a 12,000-square-foot facility in San Diego. The new 4,400-square-foot facility in Burbank launches with a senior management staff that includes seasoned technical and sales professionals. TV Magic LA will provide the same superior-quality services that have helped establish the company‘s reputation as a leader in the field of entertainment technology and facilities.

“We have built a tremendous client base in LA, and I‘m very pleased to be charged with heading up a local office created to meet the needs of new and existing customers here,” said Frank Geraty, general manager of TV Magic LA. “While our physical offices may be new, our experienced staff brings decades of experience to the LA facility. It‘s a great step forward for the company.”

Working alongside Geraty at TV Magic LA will be Cheryl Moritz, who is taking on the role of inside sales and office manager. Moritz brings more than a decade of LA-based sales experience to this new position. Prior to joining TV Magic, she was in sales at Canare Corp.

“LA represents a huge market for our company,” concluded Rosen. “We‘ve reached a critical mass with projects in that area, and it only makes sense to consolidate our presence there in a bricks-and-mortar establishment through which we can grow our equipment sales, integration, and installation and support services. We‘re really excited to see the Burbank office up and running, as it enhances the services we already provide and opens the door to even more opportunities.”

TV Magic‘s Burbank office is located at 107 West Valencia Ave., Burbank CA, 91502, and the telephone is (818) 841-6886. The fax number is (818) 557-0277.
