AMX Promotes Debbie Franklin to Vice President of Global Account Management
RICHARDSON, Texas – Jan. 24, 2007 - AMX®, a worldwide leader in advanced control system technology, today announced that it has promoted Debbie Franklin to vice president of global account management. In this newly-created position, Franklin will oversee customer accounts that are standardizing on AMX products on a large, global scale. In addition, she will manage the AMX Consultant Alliance Group, for which she will be responsible for consultant relations, as well as for directing the strategic initiatives and account activities for the group.

Franklin spent the last decade as general manager of AMX‘s East Coast office, where she managed sales, training, programming, technical support and project management for a territory spanning 15 states. Prior to this role, she owned Franklin Communications, which she sold to AMX in 1997.
Bill Griffin, AMX Vice President of Eastern Operations, will serve as acting general manager of AMX East until a replacement is named for Franklin.
