Existing owners just need to visit the TV One Tech Support Website, http://tvone.crmdesk.com, for the free download and user manual. All new C2-7000, several C2-1000 and C2-2000 Series will have Edge Blending as a standard feature.
TV One has made Edge Blending even more affordable by added it to several of the new C2-1000 Series Converters, the C2-1150, C2-1250 and C2-1350. The C2-1150 is a Down Converter with a suggested retail price of $1,395. The C2-1350 is an Up, Down and Cross Converter with Genlock, Keying, PIP and Internal Audio Switching with a suggested retail price of $2,295. The user will need two of the devices to take advantage of the Edge Blending feature but with a lower retail price it makes two units extremely affordable in comparison to others on the market.
It has also been added to several of the new C2-2000 Series. The C2-2250, C2-2255, C2-2350 and C2-2355 also have Edge Blending as a standard feature. The C2-2250 is an Up and Cross Converter with seven inputs and Genlock, Keying, PIP and Internal Audio Switching with a suggested retail price of $2,495. The C2-2255 adds a SDI input and retails for $2,995. The C2-2350 is an Up, Down and Cross Converter with Genlock, Keying, PIP and Internal Audio Switching with a suggested retail price of $2,995. The C2-2355 adds a SDI input and retails for $3,495. The user will also need two of these devices for Edge Blending.
For users looking for a dual channel unit with more options, Edge Blending is available on all the C2-7000 Series which includes the C2-7100, C2-7200 and C2-7300. The C2-7100 has multiple inputs and outputs that accommodate RGB, DVI-I, YPbPr, YCbCr, composite, and S-Video signals, as well as all HDTV formats and any RGBHV resolution up to 2048×2048. The C2-7200 adds two HD-SDI inputs and outputs while the C2-7300 adds full HD-SDI multi-channel audio processing in addition to the two HD-SDI inputs and outputs.
Since, TV One products are based on flexibility, Edge Blending is not limited to high resolution RGB computer images, but includes Composite Video, S-Video, YUV or YPbPr Component Video, SD-SDI, HD-SDI, DVI or any of the multiple formats supported by the various models listed above. Gamma correction is employed to compensate for many of the problems faced when doing edge blending between projectors. Unique alignment signals within the C2 products take the hassle out of projector alignment and makes setting up Edge Blending quick and easy.
The Edge blending feature can also be used for other effects, such as adding a soft edge to single or dual picture-in-picture (PIP) windows on each output. Adding Edge Blending to the Down Converters let the user create a great effect with the PIP and can also be used with the 720p projectors in the field.
