Barco introduces trend-setting 1080p HD projector for collaborative visualization at NSCA
Barco, a leading global provider of advanced display solutions, introduces the new iCon H400 single-chip DLP projection system for corporate AV applications. This network-centric solution is equipped with a powerful, built-in server that runs the familiar Windows XP desktop. To provide a collaborative presentation environment, it seamlessly and simultaneously displays multiple data and video sources in multiple windows on a large 16:9 canvas. The iCon H400 uses brilliant color technology to produce bright DLP quality images in native HD resolution (1920×1080).
Barco also highlights the latest version of its iD R600+ series projection system. Three key benefits differentiate this system in the marketplace: superior image quality, reliability, and low total cost of ownership. The Pro version is equipped with a built-in PC and network-centric capability similar to the award-winning Barco iCon family. The iD R600+ series includes advanced Picture-in-Picture and boasts new brilliant color technology and sealed optics for enhanced color performance and low total cost of ownership. Other features include filterless engine and low dB sound for quiet operation. At 6,000 ANSI lumens, the iD R600+ series effectively delivers a bright SXGA+ image on a 4:3 canvas. In addition, Barco will demonstrate its cost-effective solution for large venue presentations – the SLM R12+. This projection solution features next generation, three-chip DLP technology with an impressive light output up to 12,000 ANSI lumens and exceptional image quality and video performance. Barco also announces the new FLM HD14 three-chip DLP projector – the quietest 14,000 ANSI lumens, native HD projector on the large venue market today. The FLM HD14 delivers a variable contrast ratio of 1800:1 to 2400:1 to ensu re exceptional black levels at high brightness intervals.
