TANDBERG Taps Industry Veteran Paul R. Cantwell to Lead Channel Strategy
NEW YORK and OSLO, Norway, March 16, 2007 – TANDBERG (OSLO: TAA.OL), a global leader in visual communication, has announced the appointment of Paul F. Cantwell as Vice President of Channels for the Americas business. He will focus on building and optimizing distribution channels and programs that drive rapid growth among users of videoconferencing.

Cantwell has more than 25 years of executive management experience in the information-technology industry and joins TANDBERG from Northrop Grumman, where he was responsible for the sales, marketing, and technology partner alliance organizations.

Previously, Cantwell was Vice President of Global Sales for the Small and Medium Business Solutions of Avaya. In that role he created, developed and led the sales, marketing and business development organizations for Avaya‘s voice and IP telephony solutions sold into the global small and medium-sized enterprise market. He also worked at Cisco Systems, where as Senior Director he led the company’s resale channel for the North American telecommunications and utilities sectors and as Channel Director for the US government business unit he created a partnering program with the government systems integrators.
Paul F. Cantwell holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Mount St. Mary‘s University in Maryland, and has an MBA from Widener University in Pennsylvania.
