Originally named Progressive Marketing in 1977, the company has its roots as an audio-visual supply re-distributor. As an AV distributor, founder Len Dozier gained experience with a diverse mix of products that provided him with a unique perspective within the industry. As the industry took hold and grew, Len was there every step of the way. In 1980, Len recognized an opportunity to fill a gap in the AV marketplace with durable, high-quality mounts and carts for projectors. A few months later, Len began manufacturing projector ceiling and wall mounts, as well as projector carts — and the Premier Mounts‘ brand was born.
