A virtual press conference from Sound & Video Contractor

A Study in the Evolution of Audio Visual Equipment and Home Entertainment

Originally named Progressive Marketing in 1977, the company has its roots as an audio-visual supply re-distributor. As an AV distributor, founder Len Dozier gained experience with a diverse mix of products that provided him with a unique perspective within the industry. As the industry took hold and grew, Len was there every step of the way. In 1980, Len recognized an opportunity to fill a gap in the AV marketplace with durable, high-quality mounts and carts for projectors. A few months later, Len began manufacturing projector ceiling and wall mounts, as well as projector carts — and the Premier Mounts‘ brand was born.
A Reputation for Innovation and Quality
For three decades, Premier Mounts has continually worked to build a reputation for quality and innovation. Originally focused on LCD and CRT projectors, Premier Mounts was well established within the industry when the plasma display market began to develop. Recognizing that mounting plasma displays was simply an extension of its engineering expertise, Premier Mounts developed one of the first after-market plasma mounts. And when LCD flat-panel monitors first appeared, Premier Mounts was there again, measuring and fitting.

As display technology continues to evolve, Premier Mounts is committed to being at the forefront of developing complementary mounts and adapters. Working closely with major display manufacturers to develop and support new products, Premier Mounts product offerings represent a full line of mounts, adapters and accessories that works well with display equipment from all the major display manufacturers. From plasma and flat-panel displays to projectors and monitors, Premier Mounts has mounting systems for them all — with a catalog of more than 1,000 products backed by an exclusive lifetime warranty.

Bottom Line
Premier Mounts continues to be the industry leader in mounting solutions for projectors, plasma displays and LCD flat-panel monitors. One reason is a renowned customer service department, the industry benchmark for prompt and courteous service.

A Global Reach
With a network of more than 4,000 dealers worldwide, Premier Mounts can be found in every inhabited region of the world. To support customers worldwide, Premier Mounts has offices in Europe, Asia and Australia. European, African and Middle Eastern operations are supported from an office in Coventry, England, which was opened in 1999. Premier Mounts – Asia was opened in October 2004 outside of Tokyo, Japan. In November 2006, Premier Mounts – Australia was officially launched to support New Zealand, Australia and Oceana customers.
