Barco takes real-time, multi-site collaboration and HD projection to next level at NAB
Las Vegas, NV – Visit Barco booth #SL4320 at NAB to see the global collaborative meeting system of the future. Also witness the latest in HD projection for large-scale venues.
Barco, a leading global provider of advanced display solutions, once again brings systems innovation to the NAB show floor. This year Barco demonstrates a complete visual system solution for distributed collaborative meeting applications. Attendees will witness the revolutionary XDS-1000 external display management system as it pilots multiple high-fidelity projectors and multiple sources on a large display wall. At the same time, users will share content and video conference in real-time with remote participants that use Barco‘s new iCon H250 single-chip DLP, native HD (1920×1080) projector.
The network-centric iCon H250 delivers a light output of 2500 ANSI lumens, includes BrilliantColor technology, and is equipped with advanced picture-in-picture functionality. Both the XDS-1000 and iCon 250 include an on-board computer and familiar Windows XP desktop to efficiently manage the display of multiple sources through advanced desktop functions. Barco plans to demonstrate collaborative meeting scenarios in corporate A/V, broadcast post production, and other related distributed meeting applications.
Barco also highlights its new FLM HD18 3-chip DLP projection system. It is the quietest 18,000 ANSI lumens, native HD solution on the market today for large venues. Barco‘s demonstrations will highlight demanding applications for house of worship, corporate halls and meeting rooms, and conference centers.
The FLM HD18 delivers a variable contrast ratio of 1800:1 to 2400:1 to ensure exceptional black levels at high brightness intervals. It is equipped with an industry-leading 16-bit imaging processing engine to deliver impressive, ultra bright, and vivid images. The FLM HD18‘s smart, ergonomic design makes the projection system easy to set up and install. Fully sealed optics, rugged construction, liquid-cooled chassis, and easy-to-access components ensure long life and eases servicing for lower cost of ownership.
