HaiVision Systems Inc. appoints Michael Guerrero as Director of Western Region Sales
April 10, 2007 – HaiVision Systems Inc. (Montreal, Canada) is pleased to announce the addition of Mike Guerrero to its US Sales team. Effective immediately Mike is in charge of HaiVision‘s sales activities for the western region of the United States. Based in the San Francisco area, Mike brings to HaiVision extensive experience in the video networking and conferencing markets.
Previously as Channel and Cisco National Account Manager for LifeSize and Sony IPELA respectively, Mike has significant knowledge of the technical aspects and challenges in videoconferencing. He has married that experience with performance network challenges associated with his positions at Masergy, Metromedia Fiber Network (MFN), and Teleport Communications Group (TCG).
“Mike has an understanding of the essential challenges of performance video communications,” states Peter Maag, HaiVision‘s Vice President. “He brings an insight to interoperability and video networks that our channel partners will find valuable as they design client solutions for telepresence style communication systems.”
In his new position Mike is dedicated to building the relationships with audio-visual, data communications, and broadcast integration companies throughout the region. He will be delivering to such partners the excitement of HaiVision‘s MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 technologies with the TASMAN, OSCAR, and hai1000 product lines.
