PLEASANTON, Calif. – April 23, 2007 – Polycom, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLCM), the world‘s leading provider of unified collaborative solutions, today announced ReadiManager® SE200 Version 2.0, an integrated application for conference management, scheduling, gatekeeping and device control. ReadiManager SE200 greatly simplifies conference administration by centralizing control of conferencing and network resources, participants and devices. ReadiManager SE200 is the only network management application that can manage Polycom RMX 2000™ real-time media conferencing platforms and HDX™ high definition video conferencing systems.
ReadiManager SE200 Version 2.0 completes Polycom‘s industry-leading end-to-end HD video conferencing portfolio, which includes the RMX 2000 real-time media conferencing platform for HD multipoint conferencing, HDX video systems for HD video and content, the RSS 2000 server for recording, archiving and streaming HD meetings. ReadiManager SE200 Version 2.0 will be available as a browser-based upgrade and will scale to support 1,000 HD and non-HD endpoints. A web-based portal from the ReadiManager SE200 to the RMX 2000 management screen simplifies conference scheduling of RMX 2000 and RMX 2000/MGC mixed environments. Preconfigured to aid network installation and set up, ReadiManager SE200 is easy to use with role-based interface designs and workflow improvements for scheduling and managing conferences.
“Wainhouse Research has evaluated the performance of the ReadiManager SE200 and found that it offers a solid combination of conference and device management, scheduling, and gatekeeping,” said Ira Weinstein, senior analyst with Wainhouse Research. “The greater scalability and support for HDX and RMX 2000 systems offered in Version 2.0 should make ReadiManager SE200 well suited to meet the requirements of large and small video conferencing networks containing traditional and/or high definition video systems.”
