Sierra Pro XL routing switchers feature 450MHz bandwidth with exceptionally flat response and IP connectivity for control via a standard TCP/IP socket connection. Kramer Electronics is pleased to announce the newest addition to its product line, the VP-8x8A computer graphics video matrix switcher with both balanced and unbalanced stereo audio capability for each input. The VP-8x8A is an updated version of the very popular Kramer VP-8×8 with the stereo audio capability added, and is being shown at NAB in booth #SL6105.

The Kramer VP-8x8A is a 350 MHz high bandwidth matrix switcher for computer graphics video signals with resolutions ranging from VGA through UXGA on 15-pin HD connectors with both balanced and unbalanced stereo audio. It is a true matrix switcher capable of routing any input to any or all outputs simultaneously. Each input and each output accept both a balanced stereo audio signal on terminal block connectors as well as an unbalanced stereo audio signal on a 3.5mm mini plug connector. The unit has a recessed level control for each audio input and there are audio output controls (+ and -) on the front panel with a 7 segment LED readout of the relative audio output in dBs. more

Kramer Electronics is showing its new VP-727T In-CTRL™ Seamless Switcher Remote Control Panel at NAB in booth #SL6105.

The VP-727T is designed for use in live production and presentation environments which require remote operation of the VP-727 In-CTRL Seamless Switcher. The panel features a T-Bar for manual transitioning between video sources. The VP-727T console mimics the front panel design of the VP-727, and while it offers standard push-buttons for wipe and direction control as well as transition speed selection, a convenient T-Bar lever has been added for the manual execution of takes and transitions. The VP-727T employs dedicated single button controls for special effect selection, image freezing and blanking, PIP display, and choice of wipe direction. The buttons have removable caps for convenient labeling. A menu button on the console allows the user to conduct setup operations for the VP-727 Seamless Switcher via an on-screen menu on the Preview monitor. more

Kramer Electronics will be showing its RC-8IR Universal Media/Room Controller at NAB in booth #SL6105. The RC-8IR is the first model in a new Kramer RC series of media/room controllers for training rooms, classrooms, boardrooms and presentation environments. An all-in-one remote control panel for A/V and A/V related equipment in presentation environments, it features Ethernet-based programming and communication capabilities. The RC-8IR is an 8×15 Universal Media/Room Controller wall plate, capable of executing 15 commands from each of its eight backlit buttons. It has eight communication ports – two IR (each 2×2 for a total of four IR emitters with IR learning capability), one Ethernet, two relay contact closure, two RS-232 (bidirectional) and one RS-485 (bidirectional) – delivering up to 120 total commands. The RC-8IR Ethernet port is also capable of communicating with up to five separate IP addresses. In a system with equipment already networked, no additional cables are required. more
