Fairlight Announces Creative Network Design Signs On To Dream II Partner Program

Fairlight‘s Dream II Partner Program Provides Customers Even More Integration and Flexibility with Dream II Family Products

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, May 30, 2007 — In an ongoing effort to expand its diverse selection of Fairlight Partner Products, Fairlight today announced USA-based manufacturer Creative Network Design has signed on to the Dream II Partner Program as a Platinum Partner.

Founded in 2003, Creative Network Design is a leading provider of cross-platform media asset management solutions, including audio and video management software solutions for the professional audio and video industries. The firm‘s customers include some of the industry‘s leading broadcast, animation and film studios.

“Dream II supports open workflow in a networked, tapeless HD environment,” stated Lukas Bower, General Manager Strategic Partnerships, Fairlight. “Creative Network Design extends this capability with their powerful NetMix Pro suite of media asset management tools.”

Markus Schmidt, CEO of Creative Network Design, added, “Dream II users can now search the NetMix Pro audio database for music and sound effects directly within Dream II. Dream II also allows NetMix Pro users to audition and paste files directly from any local or networked drive, an exciting new capability unavailable on some other platforms. Dream II and NetMix Pro are a powerful combination, and we‘re very excited to join the Fairlight family.”

Select manufacturers from around the world can apply for the DREAM II Partner Program. Partners are divided into two categories. “Gold Partners” are able to connect their products to DREAM II via industry-standard Virtual Studio Technology (VST) or ReWire interfaces, while “Platinum Partners” can integrate their software more directly with DREAM II products. Companies wishing to apply for the DREAM II Partner Program should contact Lukas Bower, General Manager, Strategic Partnerships, Fairlight.

The DREAM II Family delivers lower cost of ownership across the whole range of Fairlight systems and sets a new benchmark for HD compliant media creation systems. DREAM II features Fairlight‘s market-proven tactile control and mixing surfaces including Satellite AV, StationPlus, Constellation-XT, HD DREAM FACTORY and Anthem powered by the new CC-1 multimedia engine.
