Wexler Video Names Brian Boring Vice President of Sales
BURBANK, Calif. — June 20, 2007 – Wexler Video, Hollywood’s leading video production equipment rental company, today announced the appointment of Brian Boring as the company’s vice president of sales. In this new role with Wexler Video, Boring will be responsible for driving business development and revenue through management of the company’s sales team in the production, post-production, and broadcast equipment services markets.

Boring’s extensive sales experience includes serving as director of California sales for Avid Technology, where he exceeded company growth expectations while managing multiple large-solution implementations, organizing industry events to showcase the company’s products and workflow solutions, and initiating and completing a state-of-the-art demo facility in Burbank. Boring earlier operated his own systems integration and reseller business, HomeRun Media, through which he established partnerships with leading manufacturers and completed projects for high-profile media companies including Technicolor, ADS Hollywood, NGTV, TV Guide, HGTV, SiTV, and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Boring will be based in Burbank and report to Thompson.
