Four Business Schools Choose Rise Vision for Digital Signage Displays

Digital signage creates a dynamic atmosphere that connects business-school students with real-world financial information

SHAWNEE, KS – July 10, 2007 – Rise Vision, Inc., a provider of web-based content management software for interactive control of digital signage networks, announces that it has completed installations of digital signage solutions at four colleges and universities within the past month. East Carolina University, Lipscomb University, Northern Virginia Community College, and North Carolina A&T all have new electronics displays in their business schools.

    – Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, Virginia has completed a new high-tech classroom for its business students. The college worked with The Whitlock Group to create a state-of-the-art AV system using three 65-inch LCDs in a side-by-side configuration to create a large wall of information along with two 10-foot LED tickers. The displays are controlled from the Rise Display Network and present the latest stock quotes and headline news to students and visitors.

    – East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina is using eight 46-inch NEC LCD displays throughout the business school building for communication with students and faculty. The displays are located in four different locations, each with two displays installed side-by-side in a custom wooden enclosure.

    – North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina installed three stock tickers in its new facility for the School of Business and Economics to create an atmosphere of financial awareness for students.

    – Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee installed a 17-foot-long scrolling LED ticker in its College of Business to act as a “barber shop pole” and create an energetic atmosphere.

“Today‘s business schools are extending their facilities to emphasize the connection between learning and the real world,” says Ryan Cahoy, Vice President Sales/Marketing for Rise Vision, Inc. “We specialize in helping college campuses create energetic, timely digital signage displays that engage faculty, students, and visitors with customized messages and live data such as news headlines and stock quotes.”
