Wexler Video Names Don Rohrer Vice President of the Company’s Broadcast IT Division

BURBANK, Calif. — July 19, 2007 – Wexler Video, Hollywood’s leading video production equipment rental company, today announced the appointment of Don Rohrer II as vice president of the company’s Broadcast IT division. In his new role at Wexler Video, Rohrer will be responsible for sales and promotion of the company’s broadcast IT products and services, maintenance of existing customer relationships, and generation of new business opportunities for the division.

“During his tenure as vice president of sales here at Wexler, Don demonstrated a talent for driving sales growth and increasing market share,” said Chris Thompson, Wexler Video president. “His ability to manage both technical and strategic elements of product sales and marketing make him a wonderful fit for our new Broadcast IT division, which has grown from a department to an independent entity within Wexler. We’re confident that under his leadership the division will continue to expand and thrive.”

The evolution of broadcast IT into a discrete division at Wexler Video is the company’s response to the market’s increasing demand for such solutions. The newly formed division serves as an Apple® broadcast video integrator, marketing and providing support for products including CPUs, displays, storage, and professional applications, which it offers along with other products such as printers, desktops, laptops, and digital asset management systems. Technicians within the Broadcast IT division support hundreds of computers each day, providing the expertise to address issues with e-mail, hosting, network, server, security, and virtually any other IT-related service.

“The success of the Broadcast IT division to date has been very promising, and I feel we can take even greater advantage of the many opportunities afforded by the current IT-oriented broadcast market,” said Rohrer. “Wexler Video is uniquely positioned to provide high-quality broadcast products and services to major players in the industry, and I look forward to working further with the company in realizing its tremendous potential.”

Rohrer’s experience in the IT arena includes his role as vice president of sales for Wexler Video and, earlier, as director of the company’s Nonlinear Services division, where he increased inventory threefold and doubled revenues within just a year and a half. While under Rohrer’s supervision, the division came to control 90 percent of the nonscripted programming market and established an exclusive contract with NBC/Universal for nonlinear services.

Prior to joining Wexler Video, Rohrer held senior sales executive and senior support representative positions with 3 Point Digital. At 3 Point Digital he managed technical issues before and after the sale; oversaw staff training, assessment, and performance; and subsequently leveraged his technical skills in facilitating a better bidding process, through which he exceeded sales goals for his territory. He began his career in broadcasting as a studio technician and field shooter at California State Polytechnic University and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation located on the Cal Poly Pomona campus, where he earned his bachelor of science in communications.
