Kramer Introduces the VM-92 Video Distribution Amplifier

Kramer Electronics is pleased to introduce and show the VM-92, a nine channel distribution amplifier with looping inputs and two outputs per channel at CEDIA in booth #611. The VM-92 is a high performance multi-mode distribution amplifier that can be used for composite, s-video (Y/C), component (YUV), and RGB video signals. It can be configured as a 9×1:2 composite, 4×1:2 s-Video (Y/C), 3×1:2 component (YUV), 3×1:2 RGsB or 2×1:2 RGBS DA.

The VM-92 is HDTV compatible and offers an ultra-wide bandwidth of 500MHz, which ensures transparent performance even in the most critical applications with no signal degradation. The VM-92 includes an input with a looping output and two dedicated outputs per channel – all on BNC connectors.

The VM-92 features selectable input signal termination and EQ. peaking control for each channel. This allows the user to adjust each channel for quality and sharpness in applications that require distribution over long distances. The VM-92 is an ideal video distribution amplifier for broadcast, presentation and production facilities.

The VM-92 is housed in a 19” 1U rack-mountable enclosure with removable brackets, allowing for easy installation in an equipment rack or convenient standalone use on a desktop. It includes a 90-264 VAC worldwide switching power supply.

The VM-92 carries a list price of $895 in the United States and is in stock and available from Kramer Electronics sales companies around the world. Complete product information can be found at www.kramerus.com.
