WIREWORKS INTRODUCES DT12 AUDIO CABLING SYSTEM

DT12HILLSIDE, NJ, AUGUST 7, 2007 — Wireworks Corporation, the leading innovator of audio/video cabling systems, introduces the DT12 Audio Cabling System, consisting of the DT12 sports broadcast breakout box, trunks and tails. Designed for rigorous sports applications, the DT12 Audio Cabling System is suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor sporting events, such as basketball, golf and football.

Ideal for broadcast trucks, where space is often limited, the Wireworks DT12 welded steel breakout boxes are a quarter the size of traditional stageboxes. Wireworks‘ super slim in-line DT12 breakout box is engineered to withstand the rigors of being dragged across a stadium or field. At just three inches square — virtually the same size as the DT12 connectors themselves — the DT12 breakout box is compact without compromising strength or dependability. The breakout box also features male and female DT12 connectors with cover caps. Recessed Neutrik XLR black/gold connectors and dual-sided channel identification allow for use in any orientation. Super-slim, super-tough, DT12 pass through, recessed male and female XLR‘s – Wireworks DT12 is the perfect breakout box for sports broadcast applications.

Wireworks‘ DT12 trunks are manufactured with full-sized 22 AWG conductors, providing lower signal loss, especially in long run cables commonly required in remote sporting environments. Engineered with Euro-designed cable clamp and strain relief for added durability, all cables are 100 percent shielded to prevent electrical interference and cross talk. Road-tough DT12 fan outs are available in 4ft. or 8ft. lengths. All connector XLR contacts are gold-plated to prevent oxidation in outdoor use and all connector shields are metal to assure strength and longevity.

“Wirework‘s DT12 Audio Cabling System is designed specifically for the needs of the mobile sports broadcast community,” states Gerald Krulewicz, president of Wireworks. “We have combined durability with high-quality workmanship in products that satisfy broadcasters‘ requirements in the most demanding environments.”
