Bryan Hinckley Promoted To Business Manager Of Electrosonic’s Managed Media Services Group

BryanElectrosonic Systems, Inc. (ESI) has named Bryan Hinckley business manager of the Managed Media Services Group, the company‘s year-old digital signage group specializing in the deployment, distribution, and management of out-of-home digital networks. Based at Electrosonic‘s Burbank facility, Managed Media Services provide signage solutions that can reproduce recorded HD content based on a predefined schedule or per local demand to fulfill clients‘ advertising, information and training needs in the advertising, corporate, medical and health care, government, educational and entertainment markets.

“In his eight years with Electrosonic Bryan has experienced different facets of the company and has been able to tap his expertise in various areas as we expand,” says Jim Bowie, general manager of Electrosonic‘s Public Spaces business. “Bryan‘s successful launch of Electrosonic Design Consulting last year ensures that he brings real added value to the Managed Media Services group.”

Hinckley sees his new position as “leveraging Electrosonic‘s core strengths in products, systems integration and service to supply end-to-end solutions for the digital-signage market. A lot of companies offer products or services in this arena but Electrosonic understands the complexity and difficulty in deploying a complete solution. With over 5,000 digital displays deployed worldwide, Electrosonic has the expertise needed to rollout a successful network.”

Thirteen months ago Hinckley was promoted to the new position of business manager for Electrosonic Design Consulting, an independent division of Electrosonic, which provides expert advice on an international basis to design firms in the disciplines of commercial audio visual systems, media distribution and digital asset management.

Prior to that he served as project engineer, project manager and system sales engineer, leading projects in Taiwan, Japan, New York City and other locations throughout North America. As a sales engineer, Hinckley provided design build consulting on such projects as Ashes and Snow, The Atlantic City Pier Project, and the US Pavilion at the World Expo.

Hinckley‘s dual degrees in engineering and theater from Vanderbilt University, Nashville are reflected in his extensive technical knowledge and strong understanding of show technology.

With offices in Minneapolis, Burbank, Orlando, New York, London, Helsinki and the Far East, Electrosonic has a 40-year history in the audio-video market with design, installation, manufacturing and staffing capabilities. The company has designed and installed complex systems at hundreds of well-known sites around the world.
