Award-Winning Hi-Wirez™ HDMI Cables Feature New Slim-Line Design

Revolutionary Active Hi-Wirez Technology Now Housed in Even More Compact, Easier to Install Package

AUSTIN, TX – September 6, 2007 - VizionWare, the Texas-based signal management and signal conditioning company, announced that their highly acclaimed Hi-Wirez™ advanced digital HDMI interconnects now incorporate a new, slim-line design. The sleek new connectors, which meet or exceed all dimensional standards for HDMI cables, save space behind equipment, make running the cables easier for installers, yet still incorporate all the proprietary, patented VizionWare circuitry that has raised the bar for HDMI cable performance.

Hi-Wirez™ Active HDMI 1650 Series cables, from 5 to 20 meters in length, have passed both the ATC and SimplayHD™ Labs testing protocols and were granted the prestigious SimplayHD verification for compliance. Prior to submission to Simplay Labs™ for testing, Hi-Wirez cables had to be submitted to the ATC (Authorized Testing Center) facility in Silicon Valley where they were measured against strict Electrical and Dimensional standards pursuant to the HDMI 1.3a specification (see www.HDMI.org for details). Once the Hi-Wirez cables passed ATC‘s requirements, they were sent to Simplay Labs for testing against even tighter electrical specifications and the equivalent dimensional specifications, ensuring their outstanding performance and compatibility with other High Definition products.

“At VizionWare our mission is to constantly improve and expand our cutting-edge Hi-Wirez line,” said Ben Jamison, vice president of sales and marketing for VizionWare. “Certainly it was a challenge for our engineers to accommodate our unique circuitry within an even smaller housing, but we felt the benefits to our customers made the effort worthwhile.”
Hi-Wirez takes a radically different approach to video cabling that combines several revolutionary active digital technologies – such as Image Enhancement, Signal Balancing, Digital Signal Conditioning, and Enhanced Transmission Technology – embedded into silicon chips that are designed to provide unparalleled video performance. By embedding these chips into both the transmitting and receiving ends of the cables, Hi-Wirez provides a completely protected end-to-end link between the source and the display device.

Hi-Wirez HDMI cables are available in 1, 2, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, and 30-meter lengths and are much lighter, more flexible, and less bulky than traditional HDMI cables, making them easier to install in today‘s complex installation environments. Their ability to dramatically reduce EMI emissions and to resist interference generated by external sources allows greater flexibility and increased reliability in wiring runs of all lengths.

Hi-Wirez digital interconnects do not require intermediate signal boosters like many of today‘s competitive cable products, eliminating the need for installers to plan for and install these sometimes costly and marginally effective accessories into the cable path. Hi-Wirez advanced digital interconnects deliver the best, most thrilling HD performance available, thus maximizing customer satisfaction, minimizing service calls, and resulting in repeat and referral business for the dealer.

Available now, Hi-Wirez 1650 Series HDMI interconnects are available in lengths from 1 meter to 30 meters and the MSRP ranges from $159 to $999 depending on length.

The just-announced Hi-Wirez 3400 Series HDMI interconnects, capable of 3.4Gb transmission speeds, will be available September 2007, are available in lengths from 1 meter to 20 meters, and carry MSRPs from $199 to $1299 depending on length.
