ELECTROGRAPH EXPANDS PRODUCT OFFERING TO BECOME ONE-STOP RESOURCE FOR RESELLERS
September 6, 2007 – HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK – Electrograph Systems, Inc., one of the nation‘s largest display technology distributors and leading provider of flat panel displays for the residential market, today announced it has significantly expanded its product offering to meet the needs of professional resellers serving the residential marketplace. Electrograph is demonstrating many of the industry‘s newest display, audio and control systems in its booth (#120) during CEDIA EXPO, September 6-9 in Denver, Colorado.
“Residential is by far the fastest growing segment of Electrograph‘s business today…and we realize that time is money for our reseller partners,” said Sam Taylor, president of Electrograph Systems, Inc. “We are continually expanding our residential offering so that we can give our customers streamlined access to the newest and most complete range of electronics systems products for the home.”
From audio and video displays to automation systems and accessories, Electrograph now offers some of the most high profile, next-generation electronics products available, including:
• Atlantic Technology Flat Panel-Friendly Speakers. Atlantic Technology has designed a line of flat panel speakers especially for Electrograph. This unique line offers both soundbar and conventional speaker technology and is designed to handle the rigors of residential and commercial applications alike.
• Home Automation, Inc. (HAI) Integrated Building Management. Electrograph is pleased to offer HAI products for home control systems, lighting control, whole home audio, and energy management. This system, which is at the core of many award-winning custom homes, may be accessed and controlled over the telephone, Internet, Windows Media Center or via touchscreen.
• byd:sign WiFi Remote. As the next step in the evolution of the remote control, the byd:sign remote helps users get the most from their television experience. It uses the homeowner‘s WiFi network to download the channel guide, as well as the latest news, weather and sports. The embedded device code library works with virtually all makes and models of home theater displays, while the remote stores its programming and updates its firmware every time it connects to the network.
• Cables To Go RapidRun Modular Cabling Systems. RapidRun is an award-winning modular cabling system designed to put an end to restrictive cabling and time-consuming installations. RapidRun supports multiple signals over one single cable, including VGA, component video, S-video, analog and digital audio, and any combination of HDMI and DVI. RapidRun is designed to handle whatever signal is needed whenever it is needed for both flexibility and customization.
Video Displays
Three of the most sought-after video display lines have also been added to Electrograph‘s offering. Pioneer‘s 10th generation KURO high-definition plasma displays, JVC‘s DLA low-cost high-performance video projectors and NEC‘s new PlasmaSync Residential Series plasma displays can now be purchased directly from Electrograph.
In addition, since their introduction last year, demand has continued to increase for the RevolutionHD line of flat panel displays, which are exclusively distributed by Electrograph. The line was recently selected for Crestron‘s Integrated Partner Program and now works seamlessly with Crestron‘s Certified Control Module. Designed from the ground up to meet the needs of professional installers, the entire flat panel line is certified by the Imaging Science Foundation (ISFccc) for precision calibration. Available in 32”-50” sizes, the RevolutionHD displays offer high performance features such as enhanced 1080i video processing, PC and HDTV compatibility, RS-232 control, split screen picture-in-picture, robust calibration controls and portrait/landscape mounting.
