Vista Systems‘ Spyders form a key part of the new Cumulus exhibition building at Danfoss Universe, the science and adventure park based in Nordborg, Denmark next to the headquarters of Danfoss, a global leader in supplying components, controls, compressors and systems for air conditioning and refrigeration. The park features inspiring technology, exciting machines and fun activities based on refrigeration, heat and movement — Danfoss‘s core competencies.

Danfoss Universe marked its first anniversary by opening Cumulus, a spectacular new venue where visitors learn about everyday digital technology by journeying to Bitland. In Bitland 20 attractions offer visitors the chance to use, try and test the digital technology we use every day. Their interaction with the attractions is visualized via two large projection walls, measuring more than 160 square meters total, designed by Copenhagen-based Informationsteknik Scandinavia A/S, one of the region‘s leading AV companies.

The walls‘ set ups feature a pair of Vista Systems Spyders which control four Panasonic projectors and permit edge blending of imagery. The pixel space on each set up is 3688 x 2048 for a total of 7.5 million pixels. The Spyders have six DVI inputs each; two are used for live background images and four for PIPs sourced from PCs at the attraction.
