DK-Technologies Appoints Carsten Rauhut To Its German Sales Team
Germany, October 2007: Audio and video metering specialist DK-Technologies has appointed Carsten Rauhut to the position of sales manager for its German office, with immediate effect.
Rauhut has extensive experience within the professional audio and video sector, having previously worked for many prestigious companies including Sony Deutschland, Sony Broadcast, AVID and SAT-1, Germany‘s first privately owned TV station.
His career highlights include supporting the introduction of Betacam to NDR and Studio Hamburg, taking responsibility for measurement techniques and studio planning while at SAT-1, handling the technical and marketing infrastructure for a start-up film production company and providing technical and sales support to AVID customers in Germany.
In recent years, Rauhut has worked as a video and audio engineer at various outside broadcast and studio facilities. He joins DK-Technologies from a video production facility in Hamburg where he was responsible for studio planning and building, as well as editing and compositing audio and video for a variety of projects including cinema and television films, documentaries and series.
As sales manager, Rauhut will be actively involved in visiting DK-Technologies‘ German customers to assist in both the choice of products and their installation and use. His appointment will also enable DK-Technologies Director Paul Wachmann to take on a more administrative role.
Wachmann says: “Carsten‘s hands-on experience of the audio and video industries will be hugely beneficial to our customers because he had a thorough understanding of their business and can offer in-depth advice and support. We are delighted to welcome him to DK-Technologies and look forward to giving many of our customers the opportunity to meet him in person.”
Rauhut will be based at DK-Technologies‘ Hamburg office and can be contacted on Tel: +49 (0) 40 7010 3707. Email: cr@dk-technologies.com.
