Impressive Ultra Low Profile Flat Panel Tilt Mount Recognized as One of Industry‘s Best New Products at CEDIA EXPO 2007
PHOENIX, Ariz. – September 21, 2007 - OmniMount, the global leader in consumer and commercial A/V mounting and furniture solutions, took home one of the most coveted honors at CEDIA EXPO in Denver, Colorado. The company‘s ULPT-X, an extra large ultra low profile tilt mount, received the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles
® Manufacturer‘s Excellence Award for Best New Product. One of three models in OmniMount‘s Ultra Low Profile Series, the ULPT-X features a remarkably slim mounting profile – only 1.5” off the wall in the fixed position – ensuring that flat panels blend seamlessly into any environment. It supports flat panels from 55”-75.”
“We are thrilled that CEDIA has named the ULPT-X one of the Best New Products of 2007,” said Brett Stenhouse, OmniMount vice president of marketing. “The release of the ULPT-X allows consumers to indulge in large flat panels, without compromising their style or décor. The whole Ultra Low Profile Series reinforces our position of leadership, giving users stylish and functional mounting products, and we are very proud to be recognized by CEDIA‘s industry professionals and this tremendously prestigious award.”
The ULPT-X is manufactured with the best quality standards in the industry including durability, function and design. All three models in the ULP Series are made from heavy-grade steel, have a durable anthracite powder coat finish and include extruded aluminum end caps that present a clean side view. The line also includes all the features installers are accustomed to from OmniMount: ‘Lift n‘ Lock‘ for easy installation, locking system for added safety and security, sliding lateral on-wall adjustment, universal rails for maximum compatibility, open architecture for simplified wiring and an installation template.
To make mounting and wiring flat panels even easier, OmniMount has designed an innovative built-in kickstand so access to wiring post-installation requires only one person and no vertical lifting of the flat panel. When in use, the kickstand holds the bottom of the flat panel away from the wall for effortless access to wiring.
The award-winning ULPT-X is also available in a professional version from OmniMount‘s Commercial Products Division. Designated the LPHDX-T, it makes available to OmniMount‘s professional, industrial and commercial customers the quality, features and application-driven solutions that have made the ULPT-X so successful and widely acclaimed.
The ULPT-X is available now and retails for $329.95.
