RTI Announces Flash Firmware Upgrade for Ethernet-Enabled Color Controllers
Upgrade Now Allows for Integration with IP-Enabled Devices
EDEN PRAIRIE, MN–September 19, 2007–Remote Technologies Inc, the leading control systems manufacturer, announced today the introduction of a flash support for its color controllers, which are Ethernet-enabled. This flash support allows RTI products to integrate with other manufacturers‘ products, which also support flash. RTI has utilized its Integration Partner Program to reach out to many manufacturers to ensure its products will integrate seamlessly with other systems. The flash upgrade will be offered on all RTI Ethernet-enabled color products, such as the T4, K4 and RK3 universal system controllers.
“RTI‘s flash support upgrade makes the integration of our products with other (flash enabled) devices much easier and more extensive,” said Pete Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for RTI. “It really helps take our Integration Partner Program to the next level, by adding features which will enhance the interface capabilities using RTI controllers with other partner manufacture‘s products such as NetStreams. This collectively allows us to provide better solutions with added flexibility, ease and enhanced user interfaces.”
“Our partnership with RTI opens up the range of control options for the NetStreams DigiLinX IP-Based Multi-Room Audio, Video and Control systems,” said Petro Shimonishi, vice president of marketing and product management for NetStreams. “Even further the upgrade allows RTI to offer its customers any one of three touchscreen universal system controllers for control of the DigiLinX system. Our joint customers will be extremely pleased at the ease of integration our joint efforts provide.”
The Integration Partner Program as part of RTI‘s ‘Committed to Custom‘ initiative was developed to ensure that RTI controllers interface well with other manufacturers‘ devices. RTI is partnering with companies such as NetStreams to provide these comprehensive interfaces to end users, while also saving dealers valuable time with products that work well together.
