PLUS Vision Hires Bryan Dodds as New Business Development Specialist
BEAVERTON, Ore. — Oct. 24, 2007 – PLUS Vision Corporation of America, a premier provider of DLP® projectors and electronic whiteboards, today announced the appointment of Bryan Dodds as new business development specialist. Dodds is responsible for promoting PLUS Vision solutions to the company‘s dealers and end-user customers throughout the U.S., with a focus on the M-Series line of copyboards as well as the recently announced CaptureBoard™.
“PLUS Vision is at the forefront of innovation in the field of leading-edge presentation technologies, and it‘s exciting to be able to experience the growing presence in the marketplace for our products,” said Dodds. “As I travel the country and do product demonstrations, dealers and end-users alike instantly see the potential benefits and the enhanced value that our products bring to virtually any type of presentation or meeting.”
“Our company is committed to providing a high level of technical and marketing support as well as efficient product delivery to our distribution channel,” said PLUS Vision Director of Sales Craig Heiman. “As we continue to gain momentum and brand visibility for our CaptureBoard and line of copyboards, Bryan‘s role will be critical in ensuring that our dealers have the tools they need to provide customers with the best possible solutions for their requirements.”
In his new role, Dodds provides training and product demos to dealers as well as strategies for helping them educate their customers on the benefits of PLUS copyboards. An important tool in helping Bryan deliver dynamic presentations is a portable version of the PLUS M-11 copyboard in a specially designed JELCO® traveling case, which is also available to dealers who wish to give demonstrations to their customers.
PLUS Vision‘s new CaptureBoard allows the user to project an image and write on the board‘s surface, and then capture the projected image along with the written information into a single file. The CaptureBoard’s unique “writable-screen” surface combines the properties of a projection screen and a dry erase board, while its innovative design and easy-to-use software enable the projected image to be combined with the written data and saved to a computer.
The M-Series of PLUS Vision copyboards represents the state of the art in copyboard technology. The M-Series gives users their choice of printing out their notes, saving a digital copy onto portable media such as a CompactFlash® card or USB Memory Stick™, or transferring files directly to a computer via USB (in the M-11 and M-5 models).
