BIAMP SYSTEMS BOLSTERS EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT: PROMOTES STEVE METZGER AND PAULA LINN TO VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND VICE PRESIDENT, MANUFACTURING RESPECTIVELY

BEAVERTON, OREGON, November 5, 2007 — Biamp Systems today announced the promotion of Steve Metzger to Vice President, Business Development and Paula Linn to Vice President, Manufacturing. Both executives are long-time members of the Biamp team, and in their new positions will report to Ralph Lockhart, President, Biamp Systems.

“Since their arrival here, Steve and Paula have independently helped make Biamp Systems a better company,” Lockhart explained. “In their new roles I have every confidence they will help make Biamp even stronger — not simply in terms of the product that we build but also the support that we provide, the partnerships that we enter and the strategic direction that we take. At Biamp Systems we‘re committed to extending our vision of quality to new product areas and new markets. And in doing so we expect to provide integrators and consultants with business development support that enables them to pioneer new vertical markets and better navigate the confluence of AV, low voltage and IT.”

Steve Metzger previously held the position of Business Development Manager, in which he was responsible for seeking out and researching emerging technologies, leveraging contacts and relationships to develop new business opportunities as well as partnerships and considering broad, long-term opportunities that will contribute to the overall growth of Biamp. Metzger‘s success in this role, coupled with the company‘s expanded emphasis on strategic development and partnerships, resulted in today‘s promotion. Prior to his business development role, Steve Metzger was Regional Manager for the Southeast region, a position he held for more than five years.

Paula Linn‘s elevation to Vice President, Manufacturing reflects her pivotal role in earning Biamp‘s industry-leading reputation for quality and reliability. In her previous position as Manufacturing Manager, she was responsible for all of the operations on the manufacturing floor at the company‘s headquarters in Beaverton. Prior to this role, Linn was BIAMP‘s Materials Manager, where she oversaw all purchasing, planning, inventory control, and warehousing.

“Biamp Systems is a company brimming with opportunity and I‘m very pleased to accept the responsibility that comes with this opportunity,” Linn said today. “In taking this position, I join a very intelligent, committed group of independent thinkers determined to grow our company and to support our customers. We understand that the performance and reliability of our products have a direct impact on our customer‘s success, and that mindset will continue to be the driving philosophy of the manufacturing department under my stewardship.”

Echoing this sentiment, Steve Metzger said, “I am naturally very pleased with this promotion and the fact that my ideas thus far have been considered and — in many cases — adopted by the company as we explore new ways to serve integrators and consultants. I am certain that Biamp will be one of the most dynamic and exciting audio companies to watch in the coming years and I‘m very excited to contribute to that development.”
