PSA Stregthens Sales with Industry Veteran Doug Swan

Manufacturer of Ear-Worn Microphones Announces New Director of Sales

Novato, Calif., November 20, 2007 — Point Source Audio (PSA), a specialty manufacturer of low-profile ear-worn microphones, today announced the appointment of Doug Swan as director of sales. Swan brings a depth of industry knowledge and extensive sales background from the pro-audio industry, and will help Point Source Audio build a dynamic manufacturer‘s rep network throughout the U.S. and International territories.

With over 20 years of sales experience, Swan joins PSA from Roland Systems Group, a Japanese electronics firm, where he served as Director of Sales and Marketing and hired and managed 16 sales firms across the U.S. with over 80 sales representatives. Prior to Roland, Swan was the president and founder of Mainline Marketing, an independent manufacturers‘ rep firm that represented more than 100 manufacturers since 1987 including Sennheiser, Panasonic Professional Audio, L‘Acoustics, Neumann, and Roland Systems Group. Swan is also the founder of Voicewerks Conference System Rentals; and Signals Direct, a wholesale distributor of professional and commercial audio products.

“I’m looking forward to contributing my sales experience and understanding of the pro-audio market as PSA extends its ear-worn microphone offering and grows its customer base,” said Swan. “With the dramatic increase in the demand for ear-worn microphones, this is a pivotal opportunity for me to share my sales experience and help to set new industry standards in performance and value.

Point Source Audio recently introduced a new line of ear-worn microphones covering a spectrum of performance specifications from high fidelity to speech optimization. The CO Series ear-worn microphones are available in three price points to meet the needs of Houses of Worship, theatres, classrooms, as well as corporate environments.
