Barco takes ISE visitors to the realm beyond HD
Amsterdam, the Netherlands – Barco, a global leader in advanced digital visualization, is proud to be at this year‘s Integrated Systems Europe with a broad range of innovations for both the professional presentation and entertainment markets. The star of the show will be Barco‘s new eXecutive Decision Center (XDC), a complete display system replete with the latest Barco technology, to help leading-edge organizations maximize meeting efficiency and productivity. Barco‘s new NX-4 LED display, based on the revolutionary black LED, also features on the booth.
Barco‘s brand-new, user-friendly XDC-3000 display system boasts a dazzling 10 megapixel resolution. This allows executives and decision-makers to see the smallest details of high-resolution images and complex data sheets while they compare various input types on the display. Content is rendered on a widescreen, networked Windows desktop with Barco-patented software that lets the user control the system with mouse and keyboard. A wide variety of connected and networked sources can be selected rapidly and controlled remotely, which renders the XDC-3000 the ideal tool for interactive meetings and collaborative decision-making.
Barco also shows its new NH-12 projector. This three-chip DLP, 1080p HD projection system with 12,000 lumens is the brightest system of its kind on the market with Windows desktop integration. It is aimed at presentation and collaboration venues that require an extra bright light output and interactivity to the greatest degree, such as college auditoriums, political bodies or large boardrooms. With its vast array of available input slots and its newly designed, silent and cost-reducing architecture, the NH-12 possesses a system lifetime that is 60% longer than that of other three-chip DLP projectors. For small- to medium-sized rooms, Barco offers the highly reliable single-chip DLP, 1080p HD iCon H500, with a light output of 5,000 lumens.
Another innovation at this year‘s ISE is Barco‘s LC-5621 flat panel. With an 8 megapixel QHD resolution and a display canvas of 56”, it offers a wide variety of display options to rooms where space is scarce. Highly detailed visuals are processed with almost zero delay and rendered in great contrast and color quality, while its extremely low noise and power consumption levels render it the environmentally conscious display product of choice. The LC-5621 also features an adaptable color temperature, which makes it right at home in almost any ambient light environment.
Barco has made a recent breakthrough in LED displays with the NX-4. The new visual standard for indoor LED technology boasts the deepest black levels known in the industry, and features a 4,000:1 contrast ratio. Barco‘s NX-4 with its revolutionary black LED, has a 4mm pixel pitch, reaches a light output of 2,000 Nit and boasts a support system ten times less sensitive to deformation than traditional LED displays. Barco‘s expertise in LED technology is also found in the freeform MiSTRIP video display, an impressive, lightweight visualization solution for stage sets, exhibition booths and exterior architecture. Both LED products can be used in either fixed or rental applications.
Finally, Barco will showcase the OV-508, a 50”, XGA video wall display for 24/7 mission-critical applications. The OV-508 video wall features Barco‘s Sense6 technology, a unique, sensor-based system which analyzes what the operator sees by measuring the output of the video wall rather than a specific optical component of the projector system. The technology results in uniform brightness, color, contrast and midtones inside each cube that is part of the video wall, as well as across the entire video wall screen at any time.
