D&H to Carry ATON‘S Next-Generation Audio and Video Signal Routing Products

ATON‘s Affordable, Plug-and-Play Distributed Audio Solutions Automate A/V Functions Inside and Outside the Home, Presenting Value for Custom Installers and Retailers

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Dec. 18, 2007 — D&H Distributing, the major North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, has signed an agreement to carry ATON‘s line of audio and video signal routing products for the custom installation business.

ATON products include its DLA speaker-level audio routing selectors, featuring the world‘s first RF remote options and patent-pending DLA (Dynamic Level Adjustment) technology. The ATON product line-up features value-oriented solutions that create a plug-and-play installation environment and are easy for the end user to apply. This makes it an attractive option for D&H‘s custom installers, as well as CE retailers who provide custom-install services.

ATON‘s DLA technology monitors volume levels in different rooms, adjusting power to maximize the sound available in each location. The ATON Storm series of speakers are available for ceiling, wall, or outdoor installation. ATON‘s 4-zone, DH44 digital audio router over CAT 5 system, due to hit the market in March 2008, is expandable to up to 28 zones. ATON will also introduce the HRD44 HD video router solution in the same time frame. To centralize control of these audio systems, ATON also offers straightforward touchpad and remote control solutions.

“We‘re excited to make ATON part of D&H‘s offerings. Their installation technologies are innovative and advanced, yet they‘re accessibly priced, as well as consumer- and installer-friendly. ATON has created a consistent, intuitive installation process so dealers can feel confident every time they install ATON,” said Rob Eby, director of purchasing at D&H Distributing. “All these well thought-out characteristics have value for the custom installer, making the products an easy sell on different fronts.”

“D&H‘s custom installer base is a great match for our end-to-end, audio and video routing systems and speakers,” said Jim Koenig, national sales manager at ATON. “We trust in their ability to help drive market share for emerging companies while providing a significant opportunity for installers. We‘re looking forward to working with D&H as we expand our product line in 2008 and beyond.”
