NEUTRIK® INTRODUCES COMBO A-SERIES AT WINTER NAMM 2008
ANAHEIM, CA, JANUARY 7, 2008 – Neutrik, designer and manufacturer of the XX series XLR cable connector, introduces its Combo A-Series at Winter NAMM 2008 (Hall A, Booth #6320).
The newly developed receptacle accepts both XLR and 1/4” phone plug connectors, offering users both cost and space savings. Based on the A-Series panel cut-out, the smallest available panel mount XLR, it features high packing density and excellent space savings. The new A-Series combo is available in two versions: as a 6-pole vertical receptacle and a horizontal PCB mount receptacle, without switching contacts.
“The new Combo A-Series accepts two totally different connectors, which can be used independently of each other,” says Jim Cowan, president of Neutrik USA. “This new introduction saves precious back panel real estate and reduces overall manufacturing cost by incorporating two products in one.”
Neutrik manufactures a wide array of XLR connectors and receptacles, jacks and plugs, speaker connectors and accessories for the professional audio industry. Neutrik USA is located at 195 Lehigh Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
