Music Accessories From Middle Atlantic Products On Display At Winter NAMM 2008

Products from the Music Accessories line simplify management and storage of audio/video components in home studios.

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, January 17, 2008 – At Winter NAMM 2008, Middle Atlantic Products is showcasing a comprehensive line of solutions from its Music Accessories brand. The Music Accessories products on display include innovative, yet practical, solutions designed to effectively and affordably manage and house home studio components.

The Music Accessories line of Studio Racks feature an attractive gray fleck fused acrylic finish to enhance the appearance of home studios. The Studio Racks feature rackrail with marked rackspaces for easy equipment alignment, and an easy-to-assemble design. An optional sturdy locking smoked plexiglass door provides the finishing touch and keeps unwanted hands off the equipment.

To provide proper thermal management in enclosure systems, Music Accessories is featuring the MA-UQSF4 Ultra Quiet Fan Panel. Offering cooling in areas where fan noise is not an option, this compact, 4-fan unit occupies only 2 rackspaces and generates 100 CFM with only 27 dB. The MA-UQSF4 features a front mounted switch to operate only when needed.

With storage being a common issue in studios of all sizes, Music Accessories is also offering numerous products that efficiently store components while providing advanced thermal management. Music Accessories‘ lightweight Clamping Rackshelf occupies 2 to 4 rackspaces and provides superior ventilation and captivation. The wide open design of this shelf offers plenty of room for heated air to escape, extending the life of the mounted equipment. The Clamping Rackshelf holds equipment up to 6 inches tall, depending on the model. Music Accessories‘ Locking Rack Drawer also occupies 2 to 4 rackspaces, offering secure storage options to meet virtually every need. Other storage options in the Music Accessories line include Pick and Pluck foam for storing microphones and other equipment, a Universal Rack Shelf and a Reversible Drawer/Shelf.

Providing home studios with a unique power distribution solution, Music Accessories is showing its MA-PD-915RV surge suppression unit. This 2-stage, rackmount unit protects sensitive equipment and features 9 vertically oriented outlets in only one rackspace. The MA-PD-915RV contains USB ports on the front and rear that accept optional MA-LT-GN LED lights.

In addition to the Music Accessories line, Middle Atlantic Products is also showcasing its MDV Series studio furniture. Designed to offer a functional, cost-effective alternative to using standard office furniture in studio applications, the MDV Series is comprised of systems that can be tailored to fit any studio, providing a comfortable, attractive and affordable solution. The MDV Series accommodates most popular digital mixers and all the modular components of this versatile system can be used together in any combination.

“The NAMM Convention is the year‘s premiere showcase for the evolution of studio technology, whether it be home, project or professional studios,” said Mark Tracy, Director of Marketing, Middle Atlantic Products. “Middle Atlantic Products not only evolves with the technology, but stays on the cutting edge to ensure that even the latest studio components can be stored and managed easily, efficiently and affordably. The products we are highlighting from our Music Accessories line are prime examples of this commitment to innovation.”
