A virtual press conference from Sound & Video Contractor

YAMAHA COMMERCIAL AUDIO NAMES DSP, AMP PRODUCT MANAGER AND SPEAKER PRODUCT MANAGER

BUENA PARK, Calif.–Steve Seable has been named Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc. (YCAS) Product Steve Seable Manager for the DSP and Amplifier Group. Seable comes to YCAS from Disney where for many years, he held the position of Head of Audio for the Hyperion Theater at California Adventure in Disneyland. His additional experience includes mixing Broadway musicals, large tours, and television as well as theatre and studio installations. “With much of our focus on DSP products and our new amplifiers, it was imperative that we hire a dedicated product manager to support these efforts,” states Marc Lopez, marketing manager. “Steve‘s background and experience in the installation and live sound markets is a perfect fit with our requirements,” adds Lopez.

Peter Robinson has been hired as Product Manager and joins the Speaker Product team as its third product manager. Robinson spent ten years at Harvest Productions, most recently as sales manager and senior consultant with a focus on the installation market. He has a solid background as a sound technician in both the live sound and recording markets, including radio and television. “With our distribution of NEXO products and the success of our Installation Series, it was crucial that we add more resources to our speaker department,” states Lopez. “Peter‘s knowledge of the industry segments we serve will accelerate our efforts in these markets and provide our sales managers with more resources.” Peter Robinson
