Liberty Acoustic & Services, a leading Dubai-based A/V System Integrator/Designer, recently completed a powerhouse Electro-Voice sound installation at the Ratsky club in the Ramada Continental Hotel in Deira, Dubai.

Liberty installed four EV Xi-1152/64 ceiling-mounted mains (two vertical, two horizontal) with four PX2181 subs, all powered by three CP4000S and one CP3000S amps and processed by three Dx38‘s. Four powered SxA250‘s act as stage monitors; four more serve as fills for the rear of the room.

Whether for a live band or a DJ, this is a seriously thumping system. The CP amps are incredible. Even though the club is wrapped in over eight inches of soundproofing to keep the sound isolated from guests elsewhere in the hotel, we still have enough horsepower on hand to shake up to the sixth floor. We even turned the system down 12dB and were still kicking loud and clear with 1000 people in the room–obviously headroom isn‘t an issue!”
