REV WIRELESS SOLUTION FOR CORPORATE PRESENTATION ROOMS
Featuring REV wireless systems and PolarChoice Boundary Satellite wireless microphones from Electro-Voice, a new presentation/conference system at the corporate offices of a Chicago-area health care provider is balancing wireless flexibility and ease of use with the most wired-sounding wireless performance available.
Stuart Allen of Allen Visual Systems in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, chose the REV/PC Boundary system for its solid RF performance and streamlined styling, installing 14 channels of REV (running 12 PC Boundary Satellite mics and two RE-series lavalier mics) in the multi-purpose, dividable conference room.
“The entire system is easily controlled via touchscreen, and the three sets of color-coded microphones are assigned between rooms,” explains Allen. “The systems in room ‘A‘ and room ‘B‘ can be run separately, with all the mics activated at the flick of a switch when the rooms are combined for larger audio conferences. The wireless solution means there isn‘t a floor box every four feet, so it keeps things tidy. The sound quality of both the REV and the mics is excellent–great quality for the price. There‘s limited bandwidth in a telephone environment like this, but, with the limited frequencies we have over a phone line, this system really sounds very, very good. It will provide them with years of reliable, hassle-free service.”
