Cerwin-Vega! Announces new 15-inch Active Subwoofer Delivers Powerful Performance in a Com

Hollywood, Fla. – (January 31, 2008) – Cerwin-Vega!, a leading manufacturer of loudspeakers and audio products, proudly announces the introduction of the newest edition to the Cerwin-Vega! Active Series: the CVA-115 Active Subwoofer. Much like its predecessors, the CVA-121 and CVA-118, the new CVA-115 features Cerwin-Vega‘s legendary driver design and bass performance, incorporated in a small compact footprint. A built-in amplifier provides a completely integrated active system and a functional cast aluminum grill doubles as a heat-sink to minimize power compression and maximize driver performance.

The CVA-115 features a custom Cerwin-Vega designed driver that delivers thunderous bass. The powerful built-in 700 watt (1400 watt peak), high-efficiency Class H amplifier provides a highly-qualified amp solution. The CVA-Series of subwoofers (which includes the CVA-118 and the CVA-121) provides more user controls than another other active sub series in it‘s class, allowing users to fully customize their sound The controls include a sweepable low pass filter, a 4-position high pass filter and a Master/Slave mode providing easy set up of multiple units. The subwoofer also features a 35 mm pole-mount socket to accommodate a satellite speaker for full range performance.
