Rise Display Network Adds Mobile Phone Interface, Integrated Alert Messaging

Companies now can send alert messages to all displays via mobile phone browser interface for this web-based content management application

ETOBICOKE, Ontario – February 20, 2008 – Rise Vision, Inc., a provider of a web-based content management system for the control of digital signage networks, has issued the Winter ‘08 Release of its Rise Display Network (RDN) service. New features include a mobile phone interface, integrated alert messaging, and automated update options.

  • Mobile Phone Interface: Rise Display Network users now can send an alert message to all digital signage displays via its new mobile phone interface. Users log into a special URL via their mobile phone and can update their displays quickly and easily with the alert message of their choice.
  • Integrated Alert Messaging: The new version of RDN now integrates all alert messages into one seamless system. This new third-party interface ties all emergency broadcast systems together, so that one message hits all media.
  • Automated Updates: RDN users receive automatic quarterly upgrades, ensuring continuous enhancements. Now, new versions of the software are automatically installed on display appliances, freeing RDN users from the task of performing the update. These unattended, automated installations ensure that RDN users benefit immediately from each quarterly release of new features.

In addition to new features, Rise Vision, Inc. is launching a new web site devoted to the Rise Display Network. This site (http://www.risedisplay.com) will feature information about the web-based content management software and examples of how companies are using RDN to drive their digital signage installations. In addition, the site will support Rise Display Network partners including display vendors, resellers, and distributors with a variety of demonstration options and other product information and news.

“Companies are serious about securing the workplace or campus, and realize that digital signage offers an instantaneous and dynamic platform to spread the word to large groups of people,” says Ryan Cahoy, Vice President, Rise Vision, Inc. “Adding a mobile phone interface to the Rise Display Network enables companies to act quickly, no matter where the person responsible for content happens to be.”
