ELECTROGRAPH ADDS REGIONAL SOLUTIONS MANAGERS TO HELP RESELLERS INCREASE PERIPHERAL SALES
February 21, 2008 – HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK – Electrograph Systems, Inc., the leading national distributor of display technology products and services, is boosting its sales force to include specialized Solutions Managers that help resellers specify and install display peripherals. This shift — part of the company‘s trailblazing effort toward providing partners with education, training and profitable sales opportunities — gives resellers a dedicated Solutions Manager in each of Electrograph‘s seven regional sales areas, which include the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Southwest, Midwest, Northwest and West.
“It‘s no secret that great margin potential lies in the sales of audiovisual display accessories,” said Sam Taylor, president of Electrograph Systems, Inc. “However, the complexity and sheer volume of the peripheral display products Electrograph now offers have prompted the need for focused experts who can guide resellers to the right products while providing education and training to help them increase their profitability potential with each display sale.”
Taylor explained that the Electrograph Solutions Managers will receive specialized training from home automation, wireless video, and audio manufacturers, to name a few, and, in turn, will pass that knowledge on to resellers. At the same time, the Solutions Managers will specify the right accessories for projects and lend expertise for installations.
“I applaud Electrograph for taking the initiative to designate and train specialized professionals focused on integrating display peripherals,” said Chuck Kittleson, vice president of sales and marketing for Atlantic Technology. “Since we design all of our audio products to integrate with video displays, we look forward to working closely with Electrograph‘s Solutions Managers to ensure customers have the right speakers to round out their installs.”
In the past year alone, Electrograph brought on a host of new peripheral product lines from industry leaders like Key Digital audio/video distribution devices, Home Automation, Inc. (HAI) home control systems, Lutron lighting, JBL Professional loudspeakers, Crown International audio amplifiers, Avocent wireless transmitters, and Atlantic Technology speakers.
