Vista Systems’ Spyder Gets The Heads Up At L’Oreal International Business Forum In Greece

lorealVista Systems’ Spyder was center stage at the L‘Oreal International Business Forum 2007 held October 3-5 at the Kipriotis Conference Center in Kos, Greece. Videotooth Event Engineering, which supplies the Vista Spyder to the Greek AV market, supplied the Spyder 344 system deployed in an array of shows spotlighting hairstylists from Europe and Canada.

The Spyder fed a 10×4-meter screen and four discrete 4×3-meter screens on stage with PowerPoint graphics, HD video clips from Mac Pro workstations, live cameras from a video van, and the output of six Barco SLM R-12 projectors.

Project manager Renos Papapaschos from Magna Events, the production company responsible for the event, commented, “working with the Spyder turned my job in another direction giving us a big show with a big screen and big video capabilities. It really added another dimension to the show. With the Spyder I could do anything I imagined: insert, move, resize images. Nothing was too difficult. I‘m looking forward to using the system again.”

Last year Videotooth, in collaboration with Podimatas Audiovisual, deployed a Spyder 344 for the annual meeting of Janssen-Cilag EMEA, one of the world‘s leading research-based pharmaceutical companies, in Athens.

Vassilis Leonidopoulos, one of the owners of Videotooth, views Spyder as “a creative tool in the hands of every producer. Its capabilities make every application, conference and event very unique. If you use the Spyder, you can‘t have a boring event.”

He‘s such a proponent of the system that he says the company‘s slogan for the Spyder is, “Don‘t let your audience wish they were at the cinema…Put the big screen in front of them!”
