JOBSITE‘S EXPANDED CAT-5 BALUN TRANSFORMERS ASSORTMENT NOW SHIPPING

Custom installation professionals can mix-and-match component and wall mount balun transformers to reduce cabling costs and deliver polished, professional trimouts

Miami, Florida – February 28, 2008 – JobSite Systems, the premier custom manufacturer for the security and satellite industries, announced today that the company‘s nine new wall mount CAT-5 Balun Transformer models are now shipping. Each wall mount balun transformer is designed to complement a component counterpart in the popular JobSite balun transformer lineup.

JobSite balun transformers convert a wide range of signals to balanced circuit topology, enabling conventional audio/video signals to be transmitted over long runs of low-cost CAT-5 cabling. Normally used in pairs, each balun transformer in the series is designed with a specific signal application in mind, i.e., analog audio, digital audio, composite video, S-video, cable TV, component video and VGA signal distribution. Because both JobSite wall mount and component balun transformers feature passive circuitry, they can be mixed and matched to provide solutions for virtually any installation. For example, a component balun transformer can be used to send high definition video signals from a cable/satellite receiver to a wall mount balun transformer that is installed behind a flat panel display.

“The overwhelming success of our component balun transformer offering inspired us to add corresponding wall mount versions for every application,” said Kim Welty, director of Marketing for JobSite. “Now professional custom installers can select the appropriate balun transformers based upon their specific need for any installation.”
The JobSite wall mount balun transformer lineup consists of nine models, each with a specific signal distribution application in mind:
1.) BT-SAWM wall mount stereo audio balun transformer is for placing line level audio devices extended distances from their audio source (up to 760 meters)
2.) BT-DAWM wall mount digital audio balun transformer is for placing digital audio devices extended distances from their digital audio source (up to 180 meters)
3.) BT-VWM wall mount video balun transformer is for placing composite video devices extended distances from their video source (up to 760 meters)
4.) BT-SVWM wall mount S-video balun transformer is for placing S-video devices extended distances from their video source (up to 150 meters)
5.) BT-VGAWM wall mount VGA balun transformer is for placing VGA video devices extended distances from their VGS video source (640 X 480 pixels up to 100 meters)
6.) BT-VSAWM wall mount composite video and stereo audio balun transformer is for placing A/V devices extended distances from their A/V source (color devices, up to 670 meters)
7.) BT-SVSAWM wall mount S-video and stereo audio balun transformer is for placing A/V devices extended distances from their A/V source (up to 150 meters)
