NEUTRIK USA MAKES A CONNECTION WITH INFOCOMM‘S ACADEMY INSTALLATION COURSES

LAKEWOOD, NJ, MARCH 3, 2008 – In order to help InfoComm bring the latest industry trends to professionals working in all areas of the pro AV market through its Academy Installation Courses, Neutrik, designer and manufacturer of the XX series XLR cable connector, recently donated thousands of connectors to the organization‘s educational services. Now, attendees can get a first-hand-look at connectivity.

The InfoComm Academy offers an extensive range of AV courses designed and taught by its own expert faculty members representing the entire spectrum of technical, sales, management and professional disciplines. In expressing his appreciation to Neutrik USA for donating the connectors to its Academy Courses, InfoComm Executive Director Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D. says, “Neutrik‘s generous donation of thousands of connectors will play a vital role in the hands-on installation training that InfoComm provides to AV professionals.”

The donation included several of Neutrik‘s most widely used products, such as [2,000] of its best-selling XX series XLR cable connectors in both male and female mated conditions (NC3MXX, NC3FXX); [400] SpeakOn Lockable Loudspeaker Connectors (NL2FC); [400] 3 pole, ¼ professional phone plugs (NP3X); [400] NYS Budget Series, 3.5mm plugs and [400] RCA-male professional Phono plugs. Several Neutrik product catalogs will also be presented to course attendees are reference guides.

With more than 50,000 enrollments since 1997, InfoComm’s audiovisual education and certification programs are the AV industry’s leading professional development resource. Courses can be taken several ways – online, at the Fairfax, Virginia, headquarters, and at the InfoComm trade show, which will be held this year from June 14-20, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Last year‘s show saw more than 8,600 course registrations. On any given day there are more than 3,000 students enrolled in InfoComm training and certification.
