(CSI), the leading industry manufacturer of fiber optic systems for the AV Market, introduces an addition to the Pure Digital Fiberlink® 7500 Series fiber optic transmission system for DVI and Stereo Audio over one fiber – now available in both single mode and multimode versions. For a limited time, 250 meters of multimode fiber will be included for free with each pair of 7500 multimode versions purchased.

The first of its kind, the 7500 Series supports DVI-I single-link resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 165 MHz pixel clock and HDTV resolutions of 480p, 1080i, and 1080p (DVI format). The new addition now provides multimode support up to 750 meters and features a unique triple EDID function: loop-through, internal generation, or capture and storage. The capture and storage feature is available on multimode versions only.

The system does not use any compression, color space conversion, frame dropping or scaling for crystal clear signals and requires no equalization, de-skewing or adjustments during installation. Transmitter and receiver are sold separately.
