Kramer Introduces Compact s-Video Switcher with RS-232 Control
Kramer Electronics is pleased to introduce the VS-201YC switcher for s-Video (Y/C) signals. The VS-201YC is a compact, high bandwidth 2 x 1 switcher that offers RS-232 remote control functionality. The unit is designed for use in commercial and residential applications.
The VS-201YC switches one of two s-Video (Y/C) signals to a single output. In addition to providing local push button control, the VS-201YC can be connected to a computer allowing for RS-232 remote control. The switcher can connect to a computer through a null-modem adapter that is included with the purchase of the unit. A bandwidth of 520MHz (-3dB) ensures that the VS-201YC is ideal for high performance applications such as rental and staging. It is also a reliable product for presentation and display systems, CCTV, and home theater applications.
The VS-201YC is outfitted with 4p connectors for the s-Video (Y/C) input and output signals. The unit employs a standard 12V DC power supply. Part of the Kramer TOOLS™ family of compact, economical and high value products, three VS-201YC units can be rack mounted side-by-side in a 1U rack space.
