Furman Offers New Merit Export Series
PETALUMA, Calif. — March 6, 2008 — Furman/Panamax, a world-leading provider of power management solutions, today announced the new Merit Export Series of single-space rackmount power conditioners. Ideally suited for professional commercial installations and music industry applications, this marks the first time that Furman‘s Merit Series will be available to customers in 220V-240V countries.
The Merit Export models have the same great features as their domestic counterparts — including surge/spike protection, AC noise filtration, and a robust steel chassis. The M-10x E provides 10 filtered and protected rear panel outlets with a front panel convenience outlet and “Protection OK” indicator light. The M-10Lx E adds pull-out light tubes, with dimmer knob, for discreet rack illumination.
“We are very excited to introduce the new Merit Export Series to our discriminating customers abroad,” said Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Furman and Panamax. “The Merit products provide convenient, rackmountable power conditioning solutions to the value-conscious consumer. With the addition of the 220V-240V export models, we‘ve made the benefits of our protection and filtration technology more accessible than ever before.”
The Furman Export models operate at a 10-A capacity and include a 1.5-meter, removable IEC C-13 female-to-Schuko-male power cord.
The new Merit Export Series will be available in March at an SRP of $80 for the M-10x E, $115 for the M-10Lx E.
