Leon Speakers Expands the Horizon in Sound Bar Performance

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — March 10, 2008 — Leon Speakers Inc., a manufacturer of custom-built, on-wall loudspeakers for flat-panel displays, today announced the newest addition to its popular Leon Horizon Series: the ultra-high-fidelity Horizon 414-LCR-X-A. Designed at the request of Leon‘s top dealers to accommodate high-powered applications, the Horizon 414-LCR-X-A offers consumers a very powerful, compact speaker perfectly suited for listening in small theater settings where audiophile-quality sound is still paramount.

Combining left, center, and right channels in one sleek cabinet, the Horizon 414-LCR-X-A is beautifully styled and expertly crafted to match the exact dimensions and finish of any display. As the newest addition to Leon‘s popular Horizon Series, the 414-LCR-X-A offers a depth of only 3¼ inches to perfectly suit new, thinner flat-panel displays.

The Horizon 414-LCR-X-A utilizes the finest drivers in the world: each channel features dual four-inch Peerless HDS woofers and a Morel MDT29 one-inch hand-treated, cloth-dome tweeter. The speaker boasts a 60-Hz to 22-kHz frequency response and a power rating of 225 W per channel (300 W peak), making it Leon‘s most powerful and compact LCR.

“With the Horizon 414-LCR-X-A, ,we have shown once again that anything is possible with on-wall speakers,” said Jeff Gordon, CEO of Leon Speakers. “The challenge was to create the most powerful and compact LCR to ever leave our factory, and as always, our design team met that challenge head-on. The result is an ultra-thin, one-cabinet tri-channel speaker that offers consumers an extremely elegant look.”

Custom-built in only three to five business days, the Horizon 414-LCR-X-A is available now at an MSRP of $2,495. The speaker will be unveiled at EHX Spring 2008, at Leon Speakers‘ booth #2022.
