Phoenix Gold Features New Award-Winning ATO Series Indoor/Outdoor Speakers

PORTLAND, Ore., March 11, 2008 — Phoenix Gold Innovative Home (phoenixgold.com) is proud to announce that it will showcase its new award-winning ATO42/52/62 Series Indoor/Outdoor Speakers at the Electronic House Expo Spring 2008, held in Orlando, Fla. from March 13-15 at the Orange County Convention Center, booth 1508. The affordable, rugged, yet versatile 2-way, three-model weather-resistant speakers, which won an Electronic House 2007 Product of the Year award during the 2007 CEDIA Expo, are perfect for bringing home theater and stereo sound throughout the home or to the outdoors for extended listening enjoyment options.

“Phoenix Gold Innovative Home ATO series speaker systems provide ‘Best in Class‘ performance by bringing affordable indoor/outdoor audio options to new levels by the addition of premium components and furthered ‘audiophile tweaking‘ to ensure premium sound reproduction,” said Stewart Millager, Phoenix Gold director of engineering. “This series has been designed to provide the ruggedness required to handle the elements while at the same time strong enough to handle the power from today‘s high output receivers and amplifiers…and sounding great no matter where they are installed.”

The versatile ATO42/52/62 speaker series includes low diffraction housing and a talc-filled polypropylene woofer with proper size and power handling (4-inch 75W, 5.25-inch 100W, and 6.5-inch 125W) for different sound coverage and placement options to give the customer and installer the flexibility to choose the best speaker system for the required application.

The ATO42/52/62 speakers are an excellent upgrade to Phoenix Gold‘s ATO5 indoor/outdoor speaker systems and also include a superior one-inch aluminum dome tweeter, a complex premium phase compensating asymmetrical crossover design, an aluminum grill, metal brackets, exclusive cabinet design, a cosmetically painted baffle (white speaker version), and are available in black or white.

Phoenix Gold‘s ATO42 (4-inch) has a MSRP of $169.99, the ATO52 (5.25-inch) has a MSRP of $179.99, and the ATO62 (6.5-inch) has a MSRP of $219.99.

Due to continual product improvement, all specifications subject to change without notice.
