Dolby Lake Processors Used at Major DJ Events in India
(March 2008) — J. Davis Prosound & Lighting of Bangalore, India used three Dolby® Lake® Processors to control a 68-cabinet L-Acoustics V-DOSC and KUDO speaker system for a show by Tiësto at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad. Under the auspices of Santana Davis, chief sound engineer, J. Davis Prosound provided production sound, lighting, trussing and video for the show, the first live performance in Asia by the world famous Dutch DJ, who holds the distinction of being the first DJ to play live at an Olympic Games.

J. Davis Prosound & Lighting previously handled another milestone event, Sunburn Festival in Goa, India, again using the Dolby Lake Processors and an L-Acoustics speaker setup. Billed as Asia’s first electronic music festival, the two-day event on Goa’s Candolim beach featured national and internationally renowned DJs, including Carl Cox, Above & Beyond, Axwell and John ‘00’ Fleming.
