Favre Press Conference Calls on Shure
FAREWELL ADDRESS—Following an emotional March 6 press conference at Lambeau Field announcing his retirement, quarterback Brett Favre walked away to start the next chapter in his life. Wasting no time in paying homage to the football legend, Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy announced a few weeks later that Favre’s number 4 will also officially be retired sometime this season.
“Our initial thought is to retire his number during a game, Murphy said. “But what more might be entailed will be worked out.
Favre declared his intentions to call it quits in front of the press using a side-address, cardioid condenser Shure KSM32, a premium mic capable of bringing studio quality to virtually any vocal or instrument application. (Photo by Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images)
