Rise Vision, Inc. Adds LED Ticker Support, Enhances File Management for Rise Display Network Digital Signage Web Service
Automatic quarterly updates to web-based content management system enable improved control of digital signage networks
ETOBICOKE, Ontario – April 3, 2008 – Rise Vision, Inc., a provider of a web-based content management system for the control of digital signage networks, has issued the Spring ’08 Release of its Rise Display Network (RDN) service. Quarterly updates are one of the significant benefits of RDN, and are included in the subscription price. Because RDN is a web-based system, new versions of the software are automatically installed on display devices, ensuring that users benefit immediately. New features for this quarter’s upgrade focus on improving ease of use of file management, and adding support for LED ticker content management.
– Play List Updates: Rise Display Network presentations now can support multiple Play Lists, simplifying the creation and review of custom content. Users can create Play Lists targeted for location, for different departments within their organizations, for different product or service promotions, seasons, or for different time periods. In addition, changes to the system make it easier for users to identify which content items will be shown on each display.
– Media File Uploads: The new version of RDN improves media file management by enabling users to upload multiple files to their Media Libraries at one time. Because RDN supports multiple media types, users can create a wide variety of custom content for their displays. The new uploading capabilities will save time and simplify users’ workflow.
– Visual Media File Management: A new Thumbnails view for Bulletins and media files makes it easier for users to quickly identify the Bulletin or media file to select without having to open each item first.
– LED Ticker Support: In addition to control for video displays, the Rise Display Network now provides content creation and display management capabilities for LED ticker displays. Users can create eye-catching presentations containing any combination of text messages and images.
“Rise Vision is committed to making digital signage as accessible as possible, and that means continually finding new ways to make it easier to use, says Ron Levac, President, Rise Vision, Inc. “Our quarterly updates to the Rise Display Network make it as simple as possible for companies to create compelling displays.
