InfoComm 2008 Preview

Booth C2806
PLUS Vision at InfoComm
PLUS Vision’s breakthrough innovations in electronic copyboard design and digital projectors have transformed corporate boardrooms, education and training facilities, and many other venues for group brainstorming and information sharing. PLUS electronic copyboards enhance meeting productivity by allowing participants to focus on the meeting rather than taking notes. All PLUS products are designed for ease of use, with intuitive interfaces and minimal setup required. At InfoComm, the company will be demonstrating its M-11S copyboard, the newly introduced CR-5 compact copyboard, and the groundbreaking CaptureBoard™. The company will also demonstrate its new TAXAN PS200 and PV100 series digital projectors.

M-11S Copyboard
PLUS Vision’s M-Series electronic copyboard represents a significant improvement over standard electronic whiteboards. Following a meeting or presentation, users have their choice of printing out notes written on the copyboard in color with an on-board optional printer, saving a digital copy to USB memory stick, or transferring data directly to their computers via USB cable. The M-11S is PLUS Vision’s standard-width model. The Company also offers the M-11W, a wider version.

CaptureBoard™ The PLUS Vision CaptureBoard™ is an entirely new tool for meetings and presentations. The CaptureBoard allo1ws the user to project an image and write on the board’s surface, and then capture the projected image along with the written information into a single digital file. The CaptureBoard’s unique “writable-screen” surface has the properties of a projection screen and a dry erase board, while its innovative design and easy-to-use software enable the projected image to be combined with the written data. When saved to a computer, the combined image provides a record of the meeting that can be easily distributed and referenced.

CR-5 Compact Copyboard
The CR-5 is a new, compact, full-featured copyboard designed to fit in a small office or cubicle. The CR-5 gives employees working in small groups the same features and benefits of PLUS Vision’s larger copyboards, including the ability to save color drawings and notes written on the copyboard surface and print or store them to a computer. The CR-5 includes two writing surfaces and allows push-button operation to save the written content to a USB memory stick or print directly from the board with an attached optional printer. Furthermore, easy-to-use software enables users to operate the board and save the written content directly to a PC.

New: TAXAN PS200 and PV100 Series Projectors
At InfoComm, PLUS Vision will demonstrate two offerings from its entirely new TAXAN projector line. Both the PS200 and PV100 Series employ the new DLP® Brilliant Color™ chip by Texas Instruments. Combined with variable illumination capabilities, these projectors provide unprecedented life-like color reproduction and vibrant images. Other key features include an auto-focus function for the PS Series for ease of use, and 4,000 hours of lamp life for the PV Series for lower cost of ownership. Both series are compact and lightweight units with quiet operation.
