Gefen’s New HDMI v1.3 Extender Uses a Single Fiber Optic Cable and Small Wall Plates to Enhance Distance
When you want your lengthy run of HDMI throughout the facility to look as good as it performs, check the Gefen HDMI v1.3 over Fiber Wall Plate Extender. It uses the same sender/receiver methodology often seen with other Gefen products, with local and remote locations connected by a single fiber optic cable. The sender/receiver wall plates enable installers to create a good-looking system that delivers HDMI v1.3 signals up to 300 meters using in-wall fiber optic cabling combined with Omron’s transmit and receive Optical Sub-Assemblies. Where the signal both enters and exits the wall, a small wall plate is mounted, streamlining the process and eliminating extraneous cabling in the surrounding environment. Users can also opt to the stand alone solution with small sender and receiver units, if desired.
1080p full HD resolutions are displayed at the destination with no signal delays. The use of a single fiber optic cable ensures a high quality signal extension that performs strongly with an incognito presence. The Gefen HDMI v1.3 Wall Plate Extender is designed for all HDMI v1.3 formats delivering deep color with enhanced digital audio selections for today’s most demanding systems.
