HME Releases New WS200 Wireless Speaker Station
SAN DIEGO — HME is pleased to announce the WS200 Wireless Speaker Station, a unique and truly mobile solution when a remote speaker station is required. The WS200 does not have to be hardwired to a master station, eliminating the costly and time-consuming task of running cables – users simply place the unit where it is needed, and go about their business.
“We designed the WS200 with the convenience of the professional user in mind, said Rick Molina, product manager of HME’s Pro Audio Division. “No longer will they have to run new cables to accommodate a different production or show. They just grab the unit and move it wherever they need to go. We know some users can’t or don’t want to wear a headset for extended periods of time. The WS200 is the perfect solution.
HME’s WS200 is the only wireless speaker station designed for two-way intercom communication. It features a built-in speaker, built-in microphone, visual and audible call signaling, and a headset jack for added versatility. Intended for use with a DX200 or DX100 base station, the WS200 takes the place of a beltpac or an All-in-One wireless headset communicator.
The WS200 operates on six 1.5V AA batteries, 12-14 VDC, or 100-240 VAC. A selectable intercom or isolated channel option, side-tone and mic gain headset adjustments, and external 8 ohm speaker connector round out the features.
